The topics of discussion include the authorities having jurisdiction, the role of the architect, national model building codes and their adoption by the provinces, fire prevention and occupant safety, regulations governing housing and small buildings, requirements pertaining to the building envelope and the Energy Code, as well as Building Code compliance letters and data matrices.
